I spent an hour taking long exposure shots of Lake Louise. Just as I was about to wrap up, I decided to take a shot of this viewing station. I was standing right in front of it taking my photo when this beautiful Clark's nutcracker decided to rest on it for literally a second. I was quick enough to capture it before it flew away. I'll have to share one or two of the more scenic shots soon, but I chose this one for the photo of the day as it would be quite hard to replicate.
A rainy day brought us some gorgeous rainbows. An apt metaphor for life.
I'm impressed by how capable smartphone cameras are these days. I took this one with a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.
